The bet

At a crossroads on our next strategic move, I looked hard at our core competencies and spotted an avenue we'd never explored: a crypto marketing agency. Our expertise was mostly SaaS, but the upside in diversifying was clear. We knew from the outset it was a temporary play, so instead of over-planning, we sat down and got to it.

What I did

Ran the whole thing on growth hacking rather than ad budgets, and kept every service in-house to keep margins sweet. Most clients were reputable crypto projects (many of them repeat) plus marketing agencies outsourcing the work they couldn't do themselves.

The result

16 clients in six months, sourced almost entirely through growth hacking, with $0 spent on ads. A pretty impressive run, if I say so myself. I could've kept scaling it, but I had other projects calling, so bitdeck served its purpose and I let it go. Learn more at bitdeck.xyz.
