Sella

Back in 2020 I had the idea of launching something very similar on the TON network. There was a TON blockchain contest, so I randomly found a developer, pitched him the idea, and together we got a working prototype in a matter of weeks - good enough to take first place. Despite positive feedback from the community and even Telegram's founders (Durov included), the SEC decided Telegram couldn't have its own blockchain, so everything went downhill and we shelved Grampay. I never dropped the dream, though; I just didn't want to be tied to a single chain. That's why there's Sella now.

Sella is a decentralised marketplace where a seller can launch a storefront in under a minute. No long setup, no confusing onboarding - just plug in and start selling. The built-in escrow works like a peer-to-peer exchange, so buyers get exactly what they pay for and sellers stay protected. A reputation-based reward system adds an extra layer of honesty, making scamming virtually impossible by design.

The project sat dormant for six to eight months while the market wobbled. We only picked it back up recently, but the core codebase was already solid. Now a few back-end tweaks and early-seller onboarding are all that remain. It is finally time to bring Sella to life and show the marketplace in action.
